Mechanical Fitter Wanted in Bentley

• 4 on / 4 off shift roster
• 12 hour shifts
• Great site and supervisors

Our client, Australia-owned distributor of milks and milk products, are seeking a mechanical fitter to join their well-established team located in the Bentley area!

This role is working 2 days, 2 nights followed by 4 days off and offers a flat rate of $77.41 inclusive of casual loading.

About the Role:
The position will involve all aspects of mechanical work on site, including:

• Valve repairs and servicing
• Changing bearings on motors and conveyor drives
• General mechanical maintenance
• Monitoring production equipment and attending breakdowns
• Fault-finding and troubleshooting issues independently
• Working within the services area, with exposure to boilers, refrigeration, and general utilities
• Use of machine shop equipment (lathe, milling machine) for fabricating or manufacturing parts when required

What We’re Looking For:

• Certificate III or IV in Engineering – Mechanical Fitting and/or Turning
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Full working rights in Australia
• Food or beverage manufacturing experience (highly desirable)
• Fabrication or machining experience (highly desirable)
